Venture capital is a new asset class in India: Sanjay Nath

Sanjay Nath, MD, Blume Ventures, said in an interview with hubbis.com that, the venture capital is a very new asset class in India. His company provides early stage seed funding to India-focused tech start-ups and guides them to reach larger investors.

Blume also helps its portfolio companies in core business activities like business development, sales, customer acquisition etc., as well as non core activities like finances, legal etc. He feels that, the country has generated some unique mobile first and mobile only ventures, which have pretty good growth prospect. Also, areas other than urban centers are poised for better growth.
